Watched by nearly 9 million people, Sara Danesin Medio impressed the judges with her fiercely Italian and Mediterranean influenced style of cooking; nearly winning the MasterChef 2011 series with a unique twist on a traditional dish - partridge and chocolate ravioli, served with its demi-glace, parmesan and beurre noisette.

Championing the use of a few well placed, quality ingredients as a wholehearted ambassador of the Italian food culture, Sara is now taking her passion even further: leading tours for MasterChef Travel, in her home country of Italy. She will be the expert guide around two beautiful areas, both in terms of scenery and regional cuisine: Campania and Amalfi, and Tuscany.
