Little Kwara Camp is situated on a tree’d island on the edge of the permanent waters of the world renowned Okavango Delta in Botswana, hidden amongst trees and only accessible by air. The 5 luxury tents are spacious, and are elevated into the tree canopy on wooden decks, each with its own private veranda. Each tent has its own en suite facilities comprising bathroom with bath and an inside/outside shower. This is an ideal camp for exclusive use by small groups and families.

The presence of permanent water at Little Kwara ensures excellent year-round game viewing and ensures that mokoro trips (dugout canoes) can take place in shallow water throughout the year. Little Kwara is one of a handful of camps able to make this claim of being a wet and dry camp all year around. Due to the labyrinth of waterways, islands, seasonal flood plains and bush, Little Kwara is always interesting and varied.

Taking a morning mokoro trip, moving silently through the flood plains is a memorable experience and a real highlight, as is visiting one of the islands on foot. The experienced guides and trackers will allow you to explore this spectacular scenery in safety and you might come across elephant, antelope or herds of plains game as they come down to drink. Off road night drives reveal the darker side of safari as most of the larger predators such as lion, leopard, wild dog and hyenas are more active at night and begin their own quest for supper.

Meanwhile back at the camp the highly skilled chefs will have prepared a delicious meal to round off a perfect day in this watery wonderland.
Prices from £610 per room per night full board including game drives.
