Sir Richard Branson's Moroccan retreat, Kasbah Tamadot, is set on the side of the hills of the High Atlas Mountains with views of a steep river valley to the north, snow-capped peaks of the Atlas Mountains to the south and across the river to the east, the traditional Berber village of Tansghar. The drive to the Kasbah from Marrakech Airport is approximately 45 minutes through rolling hills towards the High Atlas Mountains.
ACCOMMODATION
There are 15 rooms located in the main building comprising 5 superior rooms, 5 junior suites and 5 de luxe suites and a 3 bedroom master suite which can be rented individually or exclusively.
Each individually designed room with antique features has ensuite bathroom, mini bar, bottled water, safety deposit box, CD player with clock radio, hairdryer, hair straighteners, air conditioning and heating, umbrellas, sunhats, bathrobes and Moroccan slippers. Televisions with DVD players are available on request.
The master suite is a miniature version of the Kasbah located away from the main building through the rambling rose garden. On the lower floor there are 2 bedrooms, one with a private pool and another bedroom on the upper level with a large roof terrace.
RESTAURANT & BARS
The Kanoun Restaurant for terrace and rooftop dining serving Moroccan, African and International dishes with fireside bar for pre-dinner cocktails, a rooftop seating area where drinks can be served. Food is also served at the pool bar and can be delivered straight to your room.

OTHER ACTIVITIES/EXCURSIONS/FACILITIES
The Kasbah can arrange at an extra cost road transfers to and from airport, transfers to Marrakech centre for shopping or a night out on the town, private and group yoga sessions, hot air ballooning (September-June), golf, trekking in the Atlas Mountains, mule or horse trekking, 4x4 vehicle journeys, mountain biking in the area with a professional guide, currency exchange, babysitting, laundry, photocopying, telephone and fax facilities.
