Situated in Toubkal National Park at the foot of Jbel Toubkal Mountain, the Kasbah stands in its own grounds of 1.25 hectares and is run by a staff of local Berbers. It is an ideal location for families and a wide range of groups including walkers, mountaineers, artists, bird watchers, and photographers. The Kasbah is approximately a 2 hour drive from Marrakech with the last 18 kms on an unsurfaced road to the village of Imlil. There is then a fairly steep 15 minute walk or mule ride, if you prefer, through walnut groves to the Kasbahs commanding position at 1800 metres above sea level.
