- Zulu village safari walking trail (approximately 2 hours duration) or a trip to the eMakhosini Valley where the story of the Zulu nation began.
- Isandlwana Historic Reserve walking trail (minimum 2 people)
- Fugitives Trail Walk (Battle of Isandlwana, approximately 3 hours duration, minimum 2 people involves swimming across Buffalo River in summer months, skipping across rocks in the winter months)
- Rorke's Drift tour
- Birding tours (approximately 4 hours duration, minimum 4 people, guests to bring their own binoculars and South African bird book such as Newman's or Robert's)
- Cultural tours and photographic safaris to Qhedeni (approximately 6-7 hours duration)
There are also many day trips in Zululand within easy driving distance that you can visit yourself including Mangeni Falls, Prince Imperial Monument, Blood River or Talana Museum and several game reserves including Umfolozi, Hluhluwe, Mkhuse or Itala.
